Volunteer Interest Form
Thank you for volunteering at Southland Church! Together, we can fulfill our vision to bring Gospel transformation to Indian Land and beyond.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ALL VOLUNTEERS
All volunteers must complete a volunteer interview and complete the training associated with their serve team. All volunteers (age 18 and up) are subject to a background check and must review and agree to abide by this handbook and child-protection policies.
WORSHIP TEAM
Because of the increased influence and responsibility of leading worship from the stage, Worship Team volunteers must be church members and audition to join the team.
FAMILY MINISTRY AND SECURITY TEAM
Because of the increased influence and responsibility of serving minors, Family Ministry (Kids and Students) and Security Team volunteers are required to be church members and to have attended Southland for 6 months. We also require teaching roles to be able to explain the basic elements of the Gospel. These roles require a one-year commitment.
GROUP LEADERS
Given the increased influence and responsibility of leadership, all group leaders must be church members and have attended Southland for at least six months. We also require leaders to be able to explain the basic elements of the Gospel. Group leadership requires a one-year commitment.
